PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND<\/h2>\n

I graduated at Kand\u00f3 K\u00e1lm\u00e1n Technical School in 1961.
\n\t\t\tIn 1966 I earned a degree in electrical engineering from the Budapest University of Technology.
\n\t\t\tIn 1974 I obtained a Masters in engineering from the BME Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Digital Equipment System Design.<\/p>\n

During my creative years of engineering and development (in VILATI) – in addition to many smaller projects – I participated in the whole implementation process (including bidding, development, planning, production preparation, and commissioning) of:
\n\t\t\t\u2013 the Visual Passenger Information Systems (Trafinform) at both terminals of Ferihegy Airport (BUD)<\/span>
\n\t\t\t\u2013 the measurement- and control technology equipment of the Diesel Test Bench at KAMAZ Truck Factory<\/span>.<\/p>\n

As an electronics component dealer (COMPEX, 1990-2000 and FARMELCO (my own company), 2000-2021) using my rich engineering experience I helped developers, designers, and procurement managers in the selection and procurement of the components to be used. My activities as an electronics component dealer expanded in many areas of the industry including medical electronics, industrial electronics, vehicle manufacturing and repair, and telecommunications.<\/p>\n

At COMPEX<\/span>, I was part of the domestic distribution of Robinson-Nugent<\/span> connectors (now part of 3M) and of C&K switches.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

At FARMELCO<\/a> we helped our customers to apply APEM, BULGIN, CARLING, CLIFF, COTO, FCT, HARTING, LORLIN, OMNETICS, SAMTEC and SLOAN products through our consulting and trading activities. We introduced FCT (now part of MOLEX) in Hungary in the early 2000s in numerous telecommunications-, medical electronics- and industrial applications. The application of OMNETICS connectors in the Hungarian space- and brain research industry is also associated with our name. We provided support at BME<\/span> for the development of a geared hub motor for electric cars and of the Masat-1 satellite. With our cooperation OMNETICS and SAMTEC connectors were integrated into the RadCube satellite of C3S Kft. launched in August 2021. Most of our customers were from the fields of medical electronics, telecommunications, security technology, industrial electronics, automotive electronics and transport.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Wherever possible, I personally visited our customers to clarify the requirements for the components we were looking for and to learn about the technical conditions of development and production.
\n\t\t\tIt was also important to have a thorough knowledge of the supplier\u2019s side: in addition to personal acquaintance, participation in distributor meetings, training, factory visits, constant monitoring of the manufacturer’s catalogs and websites, and thorough knowledge of the components.
\n\t\t\tI confess: for successful sales, you need to know the customer and their application. You also need to know and love the components. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In order to better get to know both the customer and supplier side, I participated in many domestic and foreign industrial exhibitions, partly as an exhibitor and partly as a visitor. I have visited all Electronica Exhibitions in Munich since 1990 (held every two years, exhibited by almost every component manufacturer in the world who wants to sell in Europe).<\/p>\n

From 1967 to 1991 I was a member of the Metrology Association<\/a>, organizer and speaker of the Industrial Electronic Measurement and Control Symposiums held in Balatonsz\u00e9plak, Hungary.
\n\t\t\tI have been the author, co-author of several articles<\/span> and co-owner of three patents<\/span>.
\n\t\t\tFARMELCO<\/a> has been a founding member of the Hungarian Electronics Association (MELT)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
